A Chambray Blazer in the Office

It is “Florida Fall” where I live and that means the temperatures are still in the 80s and sometimes 90s.  Ugh! I am always on the hunt for good “fall transition” pieces because I pretty much live in a state of “transition” until the holidays have passed and the new year has arrived.  I found this great chambray blazer in my closet and I am loving it right now!

Is it ok to wear a chambray blazer in the office?

Yes!  A chambray blazer is a classic piece that you can dress down with a pair of white jeans or throw it over a dress and head into the office.  As I always say, you know your professional environment the BEST but this look should work for most offices. I have worn this exact look to court for routine appearances and hearings.  I wouldn’t wear it in a jury trial, but that is my most formal court appearance and I stick to traditional suits on those days.

I am jealous of those of you who can wear this with a nice pair of white denim and heels and rock it in the office! 

When can you wear chambray blazers?

Depending on your climate, you may be able to wear a chambray blazer year round.  But, for most people it would be BEST to wear them during Spring, Summer and Fall.
